Golden Globes 2021: 'The Crown' e 'Schitt's Creek' guidano le nomination per le serie TV

Il dramma 'The Crown' e la sitcom 'Schitt's Creek' conquistano cinque candidature a testa, nelle categorie riservate alle serie TV, e in questo modo guidano la corsa ai Golden Globes 2021, che verranno assegnati il 28 febbraio nel corso di una cerimonia "a distanza" (solo collegamenti video, anche per chi presenta lo show). Guardando l'elenco completo delle nomination colpisce il fatto che 'The Mandalorian' ne abbia solamente una: evidentemente la Hollywood Foreign Press Association, che gestisce i Golden Globe Awards, ha deciso di distinguersi dagli entusiasmi che hanno accompagnato il titolo di Disney+. Staremo a vedere se almeno quel premio lo vincerà oppure se resterà a bocca asciutta.

Intanto, già sappiamo che il Carol Burnett Award, che rende onore a contributi eccezionali nel campo della televisione, è stato conferito a Norman Lear. Inoltre, possiamo dare per scontato che negli uffici di Netflix saranno state stappate bottiglie di champagne: il servizio di streaming porta a casa un totale di 20 menzioni, seguito a distanza da HBO (7) e Hulu (6).
