Il super derby è stato protagonista del week-end e Haaland e Foden si sono presi la scena, firmando una tripletta a testa nel 6-3 conclusivo contro i Red Devils. Per l'attaccante norvegese si tratta della terza tripletta nel campionato inglese: un record, perché è il primo giocatore della storia a raggiungere questo traguardo in sole otto partite giocate. I Citizens, comunque, restano a -1 dalla vetta della classifica, che rimane dell'Arsenal. I Gunners hanno sconfitto il Tottenham per 3-1, con gli Spurs che hanno, dunque, perso un po' di terreno in graduatoria generale. Il Liverpool non è riuscito a superare il Brighton, che ha fermato Klopp e i suoi sul 3-3. Bene il Chelsea in casa del Crystal Palace.
