La Producers Guild of America (PGA), cioè l'associazione di categoria che rappresenta i produttori negli Stati Uniti, ha annunciato i vincitori dei suoi premi annuali. E ha anche sparigliato le carte in vista degli Oscar 2022: molti pensavano infatti che il premio al migliore lungometraggio sarebbe andato a 'Il potere del cane'. Invece è stato assegnato a 'CODA', che a questo punto rimonta con decisione in vista dello scatto finale. Confermate invece le posizioni di vantaggio 'Encanto' (miglior film d'animazione) e 'Summer of Soul' (documentario). La PGA celebra ogni anno anche il mondo della televisione e dei servizi di streaming. In questo caso grande festa per 'Succession' (serie TV drammatica), 'Ted Lasso (serie TV comedy) e 'Mare of Easttown' (miniserie).
